FIDM Fashion Club is a high school club program sponsored by FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.

Inspired by our passion for the fashion and beauty industries, FIDM Fashion Club is dedicated to supporting and mentoring high school students who want to pursue careers in these creative fields.

Fashion Club is a national high school club program sponsored by FIDM, a prestigious fashion college headquartered in Los Angeles.

There are over 900 FIDM Fashion Clubs in high schools across the country. Each club has a president and official officers as well as at least 10 club members. Clubs meet regularly to talk about fashion and plan activities such as fundraisers and fashion shows, volunteer outreach, and DIYs.

Why start or join an official FIDM Fashion Club? It’s an excellent way to get a jumpstart on a career in fashion. Plus, Fashion Club members qualify for exclusive scholarships to attend FIDM.

Harriet Grant Art Director

Art Director: Harriet Grant

Before she became the head of FashionClub.com, Harriet did movie website design at Warner Bros. She can play the saxophone and the ukulele. And she has a penchant for sailboats, especially ones she’s sailing on.
Program and
Promotions Manager: Talia Tonti

Program and Promotions Manager: Talia Tonti

Two of Talia’s favorite things are beauty products and brunch. She has probably read every product review on the Sephora app, and she frequents LA’s hottest new restaurants with her brunch club! Her secret desire, though, is to be a famous cat mom. She has an adorable female Maine Coon kitty named Tom, if anyone knows any cat agents.
Editor: Gigi

Editor: Gigi Hooghkirk

Gigi grew up 14 miles from FIDM’s Los Angeles campus. She was an editor at Teen Magazine before FIDM. And she once made custom-designed scarves for celebs including Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, and Miley Cyrus.
Assistant: Danica Ybanez

Promotions Assistant: Danica Ybanez

Danica was an FC President at West Ranch High before she attended and graduated from FIDM! She is one crazy crafter on WHATDAYMADE—her portal of fun chaos and endless creativity. Before Fashion Club was lucky enough to add her to the team, Danica worked at Buzzfeed as a miniature animator in the art department. Oh, and she once babysat Kylie and Kendall Jenner locked in a dressing room for a magazine launch party for three hours!
Developer: Elizabeth Koopman

Web Developer: Elizabeth Koopman

If there is one thing you need to know about Elizabeth, it’s that the love of her life is a Shih Tzu named Spumoni. Spumoni has only one eye, and it’s always on her mama! Elizabeth used to work as a TV producer in Hollywood, and now she’s FC’s web developing diva.
Rachel Coleman

Web Designer: Rachel Coleman

Born and raised in LA, designer extraordinaire Rachel studied illustration at Art Center College of Design. She started out her career designing video games, then launched her own kids clothing company called Tiki Baby that sold globally. Her most recent creation is her new little baby, Jade Iolani!
Fashion Club Assistant: Kammie Batiste

Fashion Club Assistant: Kammie Batiste

Kammie came to FIDM after spending four years in the Air Force! She started in the FIDM Admissions Office and now works with Talia and Danica on all things Fashion Club. Her mother chose her name after seeing it written on a billboard, and her last name is also the name of a type of sheer fabric. Her career in the fashion industry was meant to be!

FIDM is a specialized, private college in California offering two and four year programs—Associate of Arts (A.A.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), and Bachelor of Science (B.A.) Degrees.

Students from the U.S. and around the world seek out FIDM for an education to prepare them to work in the Fashion, Graphics, Interior Design, and Entertainment Industries.

FIDM is small enough to know students’ names, but big enough to have the industry contacts and resources to help them meet their goals.

If you have any questions about FIDM or are interested in applying, contact the Admissions Department at 800.624.1200, or submit your questions using our Ask FIDM form. Also, follow FIDM on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
